Aleksandr Yefimovich Zeldovich (Russian: Александр Ефимович Зельдович; born 4 December, 1958; Moscow) is a Russian filmmaker, theater director and screenwriter. One of the cult Russian filmmakers. A curious feature of Zeldovich career is that since 1990, his feature films have been released exactly once of every 10 years, at the beginning of each decade. In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University.
